We went climbing at Mission Cliffs in the morning, which was fun and a good way to start the day. After climbing, we met up with my friend T and his lovely fiance E, and ate at Frjtz. We shared a chicken sausage and cheese crepe and a nutella and bananas crepe, and had fries with creamy wasabi mayonnaise and thai ketchup (side-note: I hate ketchup, but this was ok.) Unfortunately, no pictures :(
Afterwards, we went to Academy of Sciences. This is us on the living roof with de Young in the background.
This is a picture of a froggy thing so bright red and tiny that we thought it was fake. It was in the rain forest part of the museum, which was pretty cool. There were butterflies and birds all over as well as many other really cool critters.
...and us in the aquarium area, which was under the rainforest-y bits.

So jealous. The last time I tried to go to the Academy of Sciences there was a ridiculously long line all the way down the road and after waiting in it for about 15 minutes, we found out it was only for ticket holders and the museum was sold out. Bah!
we got lucky and someone gave us their member card to borrow for the afternoon. we got in at around 3:00 and found that 2 hours was enough time to see most of what was there.
Um, we were at the exact same places in San Francisco on the exact same weekend. I cannot believe we didn't see each other!!
that's crazy! too bad we didn't run into each other!
