today was stormy.  when i got home (and by home, i mean the home where i'm staying for these three weeks), i tried to take a picture of the rain, but it didn't really work.  anyway, this is the block i'm staying on.  notice my car on the right.  i was really scared to have to parallel park all the time, but it turns out that so far, there's always been an easy spot to pull into.
