felt a little sad to be buying blueberries that came from michigan to put in pancakes for friends who stopped in for the night on their way back from maine... where the blueberries are... well... yum.

Michigan blueberries are pretty good too... or maybe they're better when they haven't been shipped. Anyway, I love that it's blueberry season and there are 2 lb cartons on sale for $4.
