I shared a going away party with a coworker and was given this lovely plant (which I was able to keep alive for a couple months). I attended my going away party without yet knowing what my next job was, but got a call the next day offering me my current position!

I was fortunate enough to get to be one of a small group of ladies to take my wonderful friend Rena out for Indian food during the week of her wedding. At this dinner, we gave her the cookbook that Orly and I had put together with recipes and pictures from tons of her family and friends. So special!

Also, this was the night I discovered that my camera sometimes accidently takes pictures that look like impressionistic paintings.

Sometimes I worry that he'll fall between the chair and the ottoman. Then I realize it'll mostly be funny if it happens, so it's all good.

Ben came home. Yay! Life is good!
